Key Responsibilities

  • Performing MIG, TIG, ARC and gas welding as required
  • Reading and interpreting welding symbols and engineering drawings
  • Preparing, positioning, and clamping metal workpieces
  • Grinding, chipping, and finishing welds to specification
  • Conducting visual inspection and ensuring weld quality
  • Maintaining safe and clean welding workstation

Skills & Qualifications

  • ITI / Trade Certificate in Welding
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, SMAW (stick) welding processes
  • Knowledge of metal grades, filler materials, and electrodes
  • Ability to read welding drawings and WPS documents
  • AWS / ASME weld certification (preferred)
  • Safety compliance — PPE usage, fire prevention
